A Trip Into Memories Day 5

Well, it seems we've nearly reached the end of this journey.

But before we dive into these final songs, I want to say thank you for coming this far with me. As you're reading this, I'm probably hard at work creating whatever is next.

I'm writing this on Nov 1, 2018. I was hoping to have had my next album released by now but I believe it's been delayed for good reason. Mostly, because I've grown up and changed  a lot since the release of these last two songs, and I've wanted to get the delivery of my new material just right.

Part of me that will never change, however, is my deep rooted faith in Jesus Christ. "Pray" is a song about conviction. I wrote the final track about my personal conviction to love others where they are, regardless of differing beliefs and circumstances. Our world has become so vile and so self-centered. I constantly hear things like, "love yourself first" and "gotta look out for myself".

In a world like this, I sometimes need to remind myself that it's not all about me. Philippians 2:3-4 helps me remember. Paul writes..

"Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others."

I don't want to hit you over the head with the Bible, but it's important to me that you know where I stand. So no matter what you believe or what differences we have religiously, I want to express my willingness to be available to my friends and fans however I'm able be.

"Pray" is my prayer for the world we live in today.
